The texts were short and simple, but for them, it meant everything. After years of not knowing what his son was thinking, they finally found a way to connect when they’re apart. Texting is still new for dad and son, but James often finds himself waiting for that “typing…” bubble, just to see what Tommy will say next. “It’s not the biggest achievement for most families… but for us, it really has made my week,” James said.
