Ohhh, my mother used to make this when I was growing up, and I used to cry because I hated it. I didn’t like the French dressing. That was the problem. Finally, she started making me a bowl off to the side without the French dressing, and I would add a little bit of Italian.

We use thousand Island dressing, cooked and crumbled beef, chopped tomatoes, nacho Doritos and taco sauce. Taco salad. Beyond delicious and hearty!
