solution: there's two small balls inside, you need to turn it until those two balls fall into the individual holes inside which will unlock it, so you need to turn it carefully and make sure you listen to and feel what is happening inside

the rattling is 2 balls. each ball inside has to sit in the groove. the groove is where the ball locks out

Gravity! At least as a first step,there's gotta be a ball bearing in there that falls onto a pin or into a groove that affects how much the halves can rotate or separate. Or, that makes it spit out a tool through the gap...

To me this is a not a good puzzle because it makes me want to give up early. There’s nothing you can see, nothing you can do, just keep spinning/tapping till you get it. I prefer puzzles I can see all the way through. Like screw puzzles
