For the past 20 years, I'm the one who will only pay for MY meal. I don't drink & refuse to pay for someone else's alcohol. If I'm out with friends and the bill is $400 and $200 of is alcohol, no way am I paying for it.

I don't mind doing this once or twice but if it's consistent I just say something. The app is cool... But how do you split appetizers or desserts... And even if there is a way for that it gets confusing. Better to learn to advocate for yourself.

You take plain salad for 9$ but every one take burger with fries for almost 30$ some how I pay almost 40 with tax and tip for my salad 😂 No one ever will convince me to split the bill equally

Wish I had this 10y ago 😂 My friends (moms from my son’s class) used to always order bottles of wine and drinks and I don’t drink. Same deal “let’s all split it” and I’m the divorced mom with no child support struggling to pay. I finally just said- ok you all pay for the bar tab bc I’m not drinking and don’t want to be paying for $50 bottles of wine. 😑
