Have you looked into the Kennedy krieger institute in Baltimore? I did some research and they specialize in profound autism also, the Judge Rotenburg Center or The Hughes Center. They provide 24 hour supervision walls and floors are designed for safety and the staff is trained in high level physical redirection. The medicine she’s on could be making the aggression worse. See if you can find someone or somewhere that will test and see what medications would help. My heart goes out to all of you. I hope these suggestions are helpful

Thank you for sharing this. It makes me upset when people romanticize autism by calling it a gift or a superpower while overlooking those with higher support needs. Too often, the public conversation centers on the experiences of people who can live relatively independently, while families dealing with profound autism, severe self-injury, or intensive care needs are left out of the discussion. I use an RDX helmet with a face guard. Also cycling gloves. My son takes phenergan tablets at night to help him to sleep. I walk in your shoes. It’s very hard to watch. Sending hugs to you x
