coming from a nail tech who does acyrlic/polygel lets not belittle other people who do different styles of nail ART majority people that get gel X anyways always have some type of nail art that is much harder to do on acrylic so let’s not be haters and let’s all be friends

i do both gel x and acrylic. all the people saying gel x isn’t harder are lyinggg. you don’t have to worry about the temperature being right or the 1:1 ratio, none of that.

I hate nail techs judging other nail techs. We’re all licensed and professionals. Shouldn’t we embrace the fact we offer different methods of nail extensions? Competition isn’t a thing here! Why? Because we have all kinds of nail techs that specialize in different things. I love an acrylic tech, but sometimes I feel like an acrylic tech doesn’t love me because I do gel x and hard gel 😔

idc i LOVEEE me gel x over acrylic 😭 my mom can’t stand the smell of monomer so i have to work outside in my shed, and when being outside it’s hard to work with acrylic due to it being too cold or hot. gel x saved my life and the application is like twice as fast as acrylic so it gives me more time to be precise on designs AND i can work inside with it tyvm. this argument is so dumb to me as someone who did acrylic and did understand it. like nails are nails bye
