I’ve always heard don’t plant broccoli because it bolts too fast so I started them in JANUARY and here was are so close to the finish line this morning…bolted 🤦🏽♀️. And I’m in kingman 😑

zone 9b central ca here and some of my tulips bloomed so fast and most of them didn’t even come out 🥲 i just reminded myself it’s not me it’s the weather and started to plant my sunflowers cosmos and zinnias. just sucks when you spend so much on bulbs

Over here in TX it was a nice 70s-80s then Monday and Tuesday it was in the freezing temps. Tomorrow it’s going to be in the 90s and predicted to be 99 on Sunday just turn around and be in the 70s on Tuesday 🙃 As a new gardener I’m just doing my best with what’s going on

My entire front and backyard has shade cloth and idc how it looks I need to extend my season 😳. 1500 ranuncs need to last until Easter and it was 100 two days ago and 98 today. This high pressure system needs to move along.
