At this point, I get the super short bullet points of what the app/product/feature does. If it sounds interesting, I put it in a mental bookshelf, revisit when I have the mental bandwidth. It’s unsustainable and inefficient to try and be up-to-date with everything all the time.

sometimes it works better if you're late to things. my method is that I'll let other ppl learn and test out the new tools and I'll listen and/or watch and if I hear that a tool actually sounds beneficial, I'll check it out

I stopped trying to know every AI tool and use them. I use a tool only if I need it. I no longer let it write for me. And I try to do creative things outside the laptop as much as I can. Also limited watching content on AI cos most of them are just useless and only instill fear into us.

Yep. I try to remember what I’m really excited about. It’s like if I make content. A fancy new iphone can only make me feel excited for so long until I remember why I wanted to make content.
