@velvetjuliette: no one mourns the wicked but from glinda’s pov💔 (imagine telling shiz galinda that she’d be singing this about herself) #wicked #wickedforgood #glinda #arianagrande #gelphie

no, ONE mourns the wicked💔

throppland :

we have a deep and personal connection to the tower scene at the end ONLY WE GET THAT

TvalsTuvalu :

imagine Glinda was talking about herself because "When your wicked your left only on your own" and Glinda was left on her own, blaming herself for Elphies death

:)) :

It’s the fact that this song fits both Elphaba and Glinda from different pov. To the eyes of Ozians, they think Glinda is singing this to rejoice now that the wicked witch is dead and what consequences you can get from being evil. But from Glinda’s perspective she’s singing it to herself. The line “it just shows when you’re wicked your left lonely, on your own” is a both an acknowledgment and reminder that she is wicked because she got too comfortable and wasn’t able to fully grasp the situation Elphaba (and her other friends) was in. For the Ozians the song is a caution but for Glinda it’s projection.

To her own song.

this edit implies glinda is referring to herself as wicked, she IS lonely, she will die ALONE, she is left alone.
