So spot on!!! I have more better days with the jaundice. I used to have a weekly Paracentesis because I retained so much fluid in a week. I had the tips procedure a month or so ago. Haven’t had to have a Paracentesis since. We will see how long that lasts.

sadly though patients or their caregivers are not always told that these things may occur. the local hospital thought he was just being combative and he was having an HE episode. I don't understand how general doctors at a hospital don't at least recognize the signs of that when they know the patient has cirrochis. sadly my husband died from this nasty disease. he had non alcoholic liver chirrocis. it was horrible watching him go through it. a man that never got sick and worked so hard. I try to advocate for people that don't know what these type of things are. that they need lactolose and xifaxinan to help with it.
