While I’m happy that they are actually following medical guidelines I do hope that if your situation changes it stays on your radar. I can tell you that the relief from not fighting that food noise every day is life changing. I’ve been able to redirect that energy into positive changes both physically and mentally.

This is such a reasonable take. I don’t get why people are so judgy about it. I have run marathons and climbed 14ers but still struggle. I am barely responding to the medicine and that is ok. Like my marathons, slow and steady wins the race. I just hate the shaming or assumptions that I don’t work hard. We need more reasonable takes.

I was 349 pounds. I lost 100 pounds on my own but could not lose any more no matter what I did. I even had gastric bypass and over a year only lost 10 pounds more. I started taking Zepbound. I have PCOS insulin resistance. Suffered 5.5 years of secondary infertility, had 3 IVF transfers that all ended in missed miscarriages. I gained 30lbs during this time. I started glp1 at 200lbs and I’m down to 153. Glp1 has literally been a life changer for me. I’m so happy with the weight I’ve lost. I also started going to the gym. I changed a lot of how I ate while on glp1 so when I come off of it, it won’t be hard to maintain that diet and exercise. I will always have positive things to say about glp1s.
