@chat_n_chops: #greenscreen the precious sometimes it’s too much. Chef closes restaurant after receiving a star. People talk. People assume but nobody really knows the pressure the stress and the anxiety that goes into keeping that style let’s talk about it. #chefmoe #Foodie #foodtalk #homecooking
When I graduated from culinary shcool in 1987 chef asked my do you want to work Daniel boulud a great chef or a 3 star French restaurant I went with the 3 star joint it lasted 6 months French chefs were all doing cocaine because the pressure to maintain that level and it caught up to them place got sold to corporate

Interesting. I totally get it. Must bring a level of scrutiny that is expensive to maintain

it's an interesting debate , Does Michelin actually put the pressure on the chefs , or are the chefs putting the pressure on themselves chasing a guide. As a chef myself in the UK having worked in quite a few star places it's interesting.

I've never seen photos/videos of Michelin star food that make me want to eat it.

As a dog trainer since 2005, I used to want to be that “Best”, huge successful kennel, high range dogs…now I’m “I’ll keep doing my little home Board & Train, simple programs, traon for the owners (not impress other trainers) and my Rott & sons. Simple life. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

seems in the UK that the majority of Michelin star restaurants only do tasting menus now.
We'd prefer to sit down to a well crafted a la carte and choose the number of courses ourselves

It must be problems between the partners and the chef, who takes how much money and who brought a star.
