I have a very similar hair type to you and fairy knots are the bane of my life!! I think my issue is definitely not protecting my curls properly at night - what bonnet have you started using?💗

I have fine hair and everytime I brush style I get breakage at and mechanical damage.

I notes same things seams I using bounce curl wolumen brush, and i stop using. Now I only Detangle hair with wet brush and scrunch.

I’ve struggled with the same issues and it’s nice to know I’m not alone in it! I definitely can’t use boar bristle brushes it really damages my hair 😩

Part 2 please! My hair is fine too. I never thought the styling brushes with bristles, could be causing some damage. I will definitely eliminate those and see what happens. I too am experiencing fairy knots which is new for me. Thanks so much for sharing ❤️

I relate sm, the dryness especially has been driving me crazy so I’ve been trying to incorporate more hair masks and alternate between the tangle teezer & bounce curl brush to give my hair a break from the tension 🥺

I could tell right away, it’s the brush styling. Especially bounce curl brush gives horrible damage.

I gave fine med high density curls I use the flexibrush to detangle. It is very similar to the unbrush. I actually think it is the ball tips causing the issue because I bought the Conair curl pro and notice a big difference. I tossed the bounce brush 😢

Maybe You need to change the brand of hair color you are using along with the developing cream, curlyhair is crazy that way it's alive and changes it's mind just like that
