Nta, my mom and I would have been to the store and back before breakfast. We would have gotten the good stuff too so he could sleep it off while we go out shopping. He could have been dehydrated, that's terrible.

I am from the Caribbean, there is no way my mother would have been in that house not helping me make some home made concoction to give to my partner and also giving them advice on what to do to feel better. Then she would have gone home and still call periodically to check in how they were doing. Annnnnnnd if I wasn’t doing anything to help, she would have gotten on me about that too.

I have a horrible stomach flu right now and my husband has asked me about 10 times what he can get me. He ran to the store last night to get medication and never made me feel like a burden…. Idk if this is worth salvaging
