Honestly... TVD and The 100 makes me never want to agree with people that say popular books shouldn't be made into adaptation because the shows are a million times better than the books.. That could happen with any of the newer ones too.. if we shit on it though then producers and studios won't want to put the money into it.

His dark materials (the golden compass)! One of my absolute favorite book series and I’m very picky when it comes to TV/movie adaptations and I think HBO really did the books justice

Maze Runner pissed me off so much. The movies did not do those books justice. A Series of Unfortunate Events- books were awesome. Movie was despicable. Inkheart- I LOVED the books. I loathed the movie.
