for anyone put off by the private school comment, they have a fab widening participation programme that offers funded experiences and internships just for WP students. you can check your eligibility on the widening participation website and it really levels the playing field if you utilize it properly

The best thing about undergrad at Ed (or in Scotland in general vs England) is you don’t just take your core subject. For the first 2 years you take 2 or 4 other courses per year that you pick, eg I did English lit, philosophy, criminology, Ancient Rome, criminal justice, social anthropology etc etc then if you prefer one of those courses you can switch your degree.

Undergrad degrees are 4 years. You have 2 semesters not 3 terms. Two big differences. Our daughter went. Loved it. But it’s like Richmond on Thanes, where we live. They used to call it Edinburgh on Thames.
