i relate to POTS syptoms but my resting heart when i lay down is 60 and when i’m up it’s 110. at 120 i usually pass out. i’ve heard people with POTS have a lot higher so i’m wondering is it still possible? should i still ask for a tilt test?

lol at my last cardiologist appointment there was a med student there (and it was his first day in the field). The doctor made the med student manually check my heart rate and the med student genuinely thought he was doing it wrong because it was so high 😅😅

When you go to the cardiologist specifically and they ask if you're anxious for the high heart 😭 like no that's one of my symptoms which is why I'm here???

I’m a medical assistant at a doctors office and once I heard that the nurses send patients to the ER for heart rate of 120 and over consistently. I was like wait what? I hit 140 everyday and sometimes 160 sustained while standing. I am diagnosed.

Any time I get my heart rate taken by a medical professional who doesn't know me I have to tell them that over 100 is super common for me and that it's fine and I'm not dying.

The nurse took my hr not knowing I have POTS and she said “ummm is it normal for you to have a high heart right” I said yes, she says “wow it’s um 165” (I was sitting)😭

my resting is 66 but the moment I even just stand itd be 120....I started timolol and it's helped immensely. I still am dizzy and lightheaded constantly but no more racing heart and palpitations
