I have cirrhosis I’m 9 months sober my boyfriend drinks in front of me all the time and my friends it doesn’t bother me anymore cuz I’m doing what I need to do and I have no desire to drink

I do not think it’s disrespectful, as long as she’s drinking moderately and she’s healthy. She knows her boundaries and you know yours I think that’s a perfect way to live.

honestly I wouldn't have been able to stay sober if I was with someone that drank in front of me i dont think. 1409 days sober... but I had to remove alot of people places and things to get this far 🤷♀️

I disagree that a drinking problem is only yours. If it involves your partner then it is both of your issues. My guy quit drinking altogether when I had my transplant to be supportive of me. And also to eliminate the temptation to drink again. I know you’re strong but everyone needs a good support system!
