@domorewithlaur: honestly just surprising bc I feel like many women are still STUCK when you can be free! I’ve been free from excessive cardio and eating less to achieve an impossible physique for 5 years now and I will never go back. don’t overcomplicate it💓

As someone who has abs, I agree with this, but abs are also 80% genetics honestly

I love that you said "It's simple but not easy". I think that's where people get confused.

Sorry but the most concerning part is that she said “JUST those four things”! That really shows how little people understand the level of effort and CONSISTENCY it actually takes to follow a lifestyle built on those four pillars the RIGHT way. Everyone thinks they eat properly, in the right amounts, that they’re active enough in the right way, and that they’re lifting weights that can actually be considered “heavy.” Then they don’t get results — why? Because in reality, they’re not doing it properly, and they’re not doing it consistently. When you actually sit down and commit to all of this seriously, it does become a lifestyle and even a passion — but it’s still hard work, effort, and, at times, exhausting.

I have had abs for 2 decades and until 2 years ago hadn’t even done a sit up lol. It was yoga/daily movement/a quick lift circuit/I love walking and 1/3 of those years live downtown w no car lol/had a go with spin class addiction for 3 years lol but I don’t do abs I have a tailbone and don’t want to bother lol. I love fruit veg and fish and believe rest and being kind to yourself, never expecting fitness or nutrition but it’s just a part of your life as is ice cream in the summer lol. Kindest and the right intentions with your body and heath and understanding it’s impact daily and as aging is as simple as it is. Abs come w sustainable and attainable little habits or routines that are not much but consistent.

The best abs/core I ever had I never once trained them - it’s was 100% nutrition and stability from regular training

I will tell you it is that easy for you and in your journey to achieve abs. There’s gonna be a zillion others that that doesn’t work for them and it’s not your fault and it’s not their fault it just is it is what works for you. And what works for you most of the time will not work for someone else so congratulations on what you do and having great abs and every other aspect of your well-being

I don’t ever hit abs and I have had abs for over a year. 🫣 I wasn’t even trying to get abs. Movement. Food. Endurance and dropping body fat is what gave me abs. 😳

It’s so true. 42 years old with 4 kids and I have the best abs I’ve ever had.. people have a hard time that it’s “just” mindful eating, steps met and weight training. I really focus on ab workouts
