@modecompression: I used to think marks like this from my compression socks were normal. That is until I finally got a pair of compression socks that actually fit. If your compression socks are leaving marks like this or cutting off circulation behind your knees it likely means: They are not the right size They are too tight by design They are not true graduated compression (tightest at ankle, looser at the cuff) It’s worth noting that of course compression socks are meant to be tight and will absolutely leave some marks on your skin. But they should never be painful or feel like they are cutting off circulation. A pair of well fitting compression socks will be designed with natural curves in mind, looser at the cuff and a little wider at the calf. They should feel like a gentle hug, not an uncomfortable squeeze.
