Btw, turn on the vsync in graphics settings if it’s not on already. This will ensure the game runs at a frame rate consistent with the screen refresh rate. There will be fewer visible stutters and it will run cooler because it doesn't have to run at 100% performance.

when you open the sims on a macbook neo for some reason it puts it on the highest graphics possible so if you just turn it down it shouldn’t lag as much

The reason why it said unrecognized graphics is because the sims did not detect the chip. The sims is a pc game. Where as the A18 in the Mac Neo is a iPhone chip. The game can get confused. But as of now this issue is gone iirc

I’m a bit afraid of adding cc and expansion packs into this Mac. I had about 20gb cc content and all expansion packs and still don’t know how my previous MacBook could run the game. I played on MacBook Pro 2017😃 (in 2024)… So guys what do you think?
