Don’t snip it off wait till it falls of on its own it gives energy back to the plant if you leave the yellow leaf on.

I like to let my monsteras leaf fully crisp up once it starts to yellow so the plant can take up all the nutrients from the old leaf. Also it would probably be easier to pull off or fall off on its own when it’s more dead which would lead to less toxins getting in the water because it closes up more at the node once it gets crispy❤️
