I tidy up for the cleaner but not clean for them lol but by tidy I mean pick up things off the floor, make sure everything is in its spot so they can actually do the cleaning rather than the tidying

As a ex cleaning business owner us cleaners THANKYOU for tidying before we come! Gives us a chance to get things done that you wouldn’t be able to do yourself instead of spending our time tidying (we don’t judge if you don’t) however it just makes our job easier 🥰

Growing up, we had a lady who cleaned our house once a week. I always whined because my mom would make me tidy up my room and my bathroom before the cleaning lady arrived. I can just hear my mother now: “Le pagamos para que limpie, no para que organice! Tu trabajo es organizar tus cosas. El trabajo de ella es limpiar.” which translates to: we pay her to clean, not tidy up. Your job is to tidy up, Her job is to clean. She’d say it was like going to the dentist without brushing your teeth first.

I am a cleaner, and just dont! lol dont clean just tidy and know we dont judge , u should see our own houses cause we're tired and dont wanna clean after cleaning all day so your house gets all the love and no judgement 😁

Oh it’s definitely not just you 🤣 - Eastern European here and we ( mum and I) do a tidy the morning of cleaning day before our cleaner arrives. The schedule for the night before and the morning of is planned around making sure we tidy the house before she gets here.
