They defeated Último Guerrero & Sansón in the finals and Soberano Jr joined the ranks of all who have won this tournament. Nearly 10 years later Soberano Jr and Místico find themselves on opposite sides of the ring now. Where a young Soberano Jr was eager to team up with Místico, an older Soberano Jr now seeks to take his place as the face of Arena Mexico and CMLL. He's had a few shots at Místico's CMLL World Lights Heavyweight Championship. And while he hasn't won it yet, he is always a strong contender and a great rival.
