@pinkkkstrawberyyy: Is it normal that transferrin slightly low of 1.96 a month after iron infusion? My first time my transferrin drop. And Ferritin increased from 6.5 to 65 normal cbc, iron, crp, normal alt result. only transferrin

My internal medicine doctor does it out of his office. He has an infusion clinic. When my ferritin goes low I feel like I’m dying, short of breath, anxiety and panic attacks and more.

Ferritin was at a 3 but my hemoglobin was 113 so I wasn’t “allowed” to get a covered infusion(s) before my c-section last month. Can’t wait to see what it’s at now 🙃

With special authority pharmacare coverage, doesn’t the patient need to hit their deductible limit for the monoferric/venofer to start being covered? Otherwise with special authority, wouldn’t the money from the monoferric/venofer just go towards their deductible?
