@tayy.george: the backstory on my skin journey is a rough one. i had normal skin all through high school and shortly after graduation started developing cystic acne on my chin and jaw area. it was insanely damaging to my self esteem and i tried every lotion and potion they made to try and get rid of it. i got engaged in 2019 and SWORE i would not have acne on my wedding day. enter accutane…… this is NOT in any way shape or form me telling you to get on accutane. it’s a VERY intense treatment and should be used as an absolute last resort if your doctor feels like it’s a good fit for you. but it genuinely changed my life and i have zero regrets about using said treatment. since then my goal has been to reduce my acne scarring and that’s where tretinoin comes in! this can also be super damaging to your skin if not used correctly and in proper dosage, so do your research!!!! hydration is key with tretinoin and just wanted to share my current favorites with you!!! love y’all! 🫶🏻✨🧴💕 @LaRochePosayUS @Thayers @CeraVe @Versed Skincare @The Ordinary #skincare #skincarefavorites #tretinoin #tretinoinjourney #skincareproducts
