You throwing your shoes in the trash can is actually the culmination of every moment they experienced, it was the antithesis of the trip. It represented the abandonment of normal life and they will remember that you threw your shoes away because they got to go in the puddle in a magical place where you did all these things. The snowball does not exist without the minuscule flake that fell from the sky in the first place. Good on ya.

We just took our toddlers to all Disney parks. Asked my 3 year old her fav part of the whole trip. She told us “the thing that gives you the spoons and forks” 🙃

Ok but hear me out. My favorite ever memory of my dad is when we went to six flags when I was 6. He bought new blue shorts. We went on a water ride and when he got off his legs were completely blue. I’m almost 39 and that’s still my favorite memory of vacation with my dad ❤️❤️it’s YOU, dad. YOU are their favorite.

There are 3 things that don’t cost money to go on vacation: sleepover in the same bed, puddle jumping and trashing shoes. These were the 3 things they will remember. lol

We spent 7 days in Hawaii, went on atvs, a catamaran, waterfalls, snorkeling with sea turtles- my kid’s favorite part was the day we got breakfast at Dennys.

My family-husband and 4 kids went on a road trip. Went IN the White House and toured, Disney World etc etc etc. I got pulled over on the way home. The most talked about memory from that trip.
