One issue with this airport is it is a bit more weather sensitive than bigger airports like Pearson. Flights can easily get cancelled and unlike Pearson you don’t have any other options to be rerouted there.

i flew to newark from here and omg the porter plane i was one was so uncomfortable, not to mention porter staff always make you take off headphones during the safety announcements and say it’s the law yet i’ve never had any other airlines tell me that, always a bit weird

You had to pay for the personal item because you bought the fare that didn’t include it. You could’ve saved yourself some trouble by reading what was included.

It was an awesome airport when it first opened. The first few years they had a lounge with free drinks and snacks.

When I flew through that airport some years ago they used to offer free snacks and coffee (even cappuccinos) for all passengers.

I always fly in and out of here when I go to Toronto and I work for Porter in thunder bay actually, I get to see all the flights go there from tbay everyday
