My son turned 2 and experienced speech regression. Waiting to be put into speech therapy...he was talking, sounding out words, pointing and everything. At age 2.5 he's in between autism and speech delay. They don't know. He was born at 26weeks +4days. So help and time will tell. It's been 2 months still no spot for him at the facility and he won't be able to attend after August -it's with first steps. I'm trying everything to help him in the meantime and it's frustrating

My son repeats things off of movies and songs…he knows his alphabets & he just started saying I love you and learning his colors ..Yu can hear wat he is saying a little but it is not clear & he responds to his name now sometimes he didn’t use too.

my child has a speech delay, cuz he understands my commands like close the door, put it on the sink etc. he also loves to sing and imitate what I said but I just can't understand.

My son understands everything, imitates what I do, good eye contact, but he doesn’t say any word , when hungry he either cries or holds my hand and takes me to the kitchen am just concerned because he goes to nursery but not a single world from his mouth, he is 22 months old

Mine doesn’t respond to his name but funny enough when you sing pickaboo he responds doesn’t point but he pushes you to play when he wants to play and try to imitate you.

my 2 yrs old toddler can do sentences of words ...He can call all of our name in the family🥰 hes not into color ,shapes,animals but knows how to ask for food,water and if he want to play ..sometimes dances whenever he hears musics for dancing..Proud mama here ...🥰🥰🥰

This great I now know the difference my girl 5 now got GDD with speech delays as u know autism the first thing they look at her first time time round my girl wouldn’t play her game she hid under a chair the whole appointment year later we went see her my girl walked in full of it played her game eye contact interaction with the doc was great i but this makes everything clearer

@Lilyyy🤩: My son just turned 17months and he understands simple commands, he won’t always respond to his name if he’s busy playing, he only says mama and dada and up, but hardly ever points or waves, he understands the word no and will bring me his toys he wants to play with or have opened. Not really sure ,

My child is now 2 years old he can look back when u call him but cannot call mama or daddy , when u sing ABCD he also starts singing but the words don't come is proper for me to take him to school at an early age

still waiting for psychologist to diagnose my son , but the speech therapy and the audiology said it might be the language delay 🤔, he has improved since now he's in grade 1, he delayed in crawling when he was a baby and delayed walking. they kept him with babies at creche, his grade 1 teacher say he isolate himself he plays alone most of the time, he is 6 yeas old no sentence at all when he speaks only few words. still have hope ...
