@globug530: Posting the real and raw footage of me having an adverse reaction to my infusion today. Was asleep and suddenly my teeth began to chatter like when you’re freezing cold. Then my entire body started convulsing out of control. The nurses ran to my side, two doctors came, my infusion was stopped, solumedrol and IV Benadryl was given, I was covered in warm blankets, IV fluids were being pushed. I literally had no control of my ENTIRE BODY. Even my face was distorted. Conclusion; the rate at which my remicade was being delivered through the IV was TOO FAST! From now on IV Benadryl vs Benadryl tablets and remicade given at a slower rate. Also, I am ok. Just sore from all of my muscles going off at once. #fyp #rheumatoidarthritis #autoimmunedisease #me #🙏🏻
