Truly beautiful film, anyone saying it was bad had the wrong expectations going into it. A 2 hour film is never going to cover every plot line left by a 6 season show. And if you really understand the characters then I think tommys decisions make sense.

Anyone who doesn’t understand the point of this film—I’ll explain it. First of all, it’s a perfectly decent ending to the story; some people like it, some don’t—that’s just how it is. Secondly, those who can’t see its deeper meaning don’t understand history either. They prevented millions of counterfeit banknotes from reaching British banks; if that hadn’t been stopped, it’s possible that Hitler might have won the war. In short, that’s it. The film was also made in memory of those who died during the bombing of the Birmingham weapons factory.

the movie is emotional and great but i think it missed the peaky blinders aura the only scenes which had it was the pub scene and the horse scene the rest of the movie is nothing but like saying to us tommy wants to die which yes is emotional but i wish it had more peaky blinders essense and towards the end if it had plot twist where we learn (spoiler alert) that tommys son gets the bullet with his name it would be more of a masterpiece because it would make us feel hope and then acknowledgement that everyone comes with nothing and leaves with nothing which would be a better moral, instead the script felt lazy and rushed just finishing the story and tied loose ends rather than had a story ,proper adventure to the ultimate end where the stage is set up for his son making us want to watch the next 2 seasons, like trully tommys son is shown as weak,without morals and a coward why would i watch 2 seasons of that?
