It looks quite impressive, but for me it's a bit too kitschy. It's as far from a real Jacob & Co. Astronomia as the Moon is. Still, I can't imagine myself wearing a watch like this. But it's definitely interesting to look at – thanks for the video!

Since the watch has a separate mechanical movement...it should move the whole axis. Also windows where the straps connect!

learning it's a combo of quartz and purely aesthetic mechanical parts kinda ruins the gimmick. the quartz movement itself seems interesting — I'd like to see that movement with press/long press time setting used for a minimalist kind of watch. think like that stupid $200 f91w that's been encased encased in clear resin, but analog and WITH actual ability to set time. I wonder if the movement is used in watches like that already🤔

To be honest, I would feel a bit of a Muppet wearing that. I see the quartz as an advantage, at least you know the time keeping will be reliable, but I wonder how easy it is to swap the battery 🤔

Very well balanced dial and loving that GMT hand/arrow. I do love unique, as long as its not too whacky. The clear 'knob' inside the glass where the crown would be, reminds me too much of a Bathroom Tub knob lol. As always, thank you for bringing us the latest. Rock your weekend Brother ⌚

So does the mechanical mechanism have anything to do with the time or does it just move the tourbion and planets around with not synchronization to the time?
