I love hearing this story. I went in for an induction and ended up needed a C section. Didn’t know it was going to happen but I chose what was safest for my baby. Was the best decision I ever made and he’s now 9 months old. Sometimes the birth plans change but sharing your story will make it less scary for others

I’m less than two weeks away from my 3rd c-section (first scheduled— the other two were emergency sections). I feel very grateful that I heard from other women who had c-sections before I had my first, because it is rarely the mother’s first choice/birth plan, but knowing that you and your medical team are making a choice that will keep you and your baby safe and healthy makes it easier to let go of the “ideal” plan.

Wow thank you SO much for sharing this!! We don’t know for sure yet, but at my last OB appt my doctor said there is a chance we may need to do a c section given a complication I’ve been having the last several months. I’ve been struggling with accepting this. Not enough people talk about how beautiful a c section can be and hearing your story was so reassuring 🥰 Also, your baby is such a little cutie!! 🥹 Congrats!! ✨🩵

My experience (almost 17 years ago!) was very similar. It was a great experience all around! You chose the safest thing for you and your baby.
