My husband and I stop sharing a bed as soon as one of us feels sick, we have never passed a sickness off to each other in the almost 15 years we have been together.

I would add: - menthol patches to this! I don't like the texture of Vaporub so I stick the patches on my sheets to inhale while I sleep. - throat coat tea for sore throat and cough - gua sha to help clear sinuses

Love these tips! I would add a bedside humidifier to this list. It helps reduce congestion and coughing through the night. Feel better soon!

I love the citron honey ginger Korean tea, especially when I'm sick! and also people swear by the gruns supplements. I started taking it in December this year and I have not been sick since October. That's very rare for me.

My friend designed an NIH study on the saline rinse. The navage rinse was effective while the squeeze bottle was not in reducing c0vid hospitalizations. Even if its not that virus it may be worth considering bc of the reduction of viral load

For nose sprays I use the Flo Travel spray - it has carrageenan as well. Some evidence that it helps to trap Covid and other virus or bacteria particles and prevent them from infecting you. We use it as part of our ongoing Covid protocol so spray before we leave the house to ensure there’s a lining of the spray in our noses, along with eye drops that have BAK in them. We did end up getting Covid end of last year but I think these have helped given (alongside vaccine, respirator masks, portable HEPA air purifiers when we leave the house) because we’ve had several more close calls where I was certain I’d get it and then didn’t. I know as a POTSy too you’ll be all across the electrolytes already, but for others I also like to up my electrolytes when sick. Not sure of evidence for that but I feel like it helps. And an endless supply of hot lemon and ginger toddies - fresh or jarred ginger + Mānuka honey + lemon and sometimes I’ll throw in a few cloves too. If I use an actual lemon instead of juice sometimes I can get a few toddies out of the one set of ingredients just topping it up with hot water.
