I get it having been in those shoes. But, now I'm the approver, I've amended and brought to the drafters attention the error for next time but the same mistake gets made over and over. Sometimes, you have to make a louder statement!

At my job it's more the other way around, I'm not allowed to add the "comma" myself, so I have to email other people to do it. Such a waste of time.

And when your boss passes the report on to others, they will not send the one with the added comma, or even the one missing the comma. They will send the draft from three versions ago with Track Changes still showing all markup and comments.

I’m a PA and I don’t mind doing stuff cos like, it’s my job but it does sometimes make me laugh when people take longer to email me asking me to do something than if they just quick did it. Altho the younger fee earners are more inclined to do stuff themselves and I’m sweating a bit cos don’t make me obsolete, kids 😅
