to the point of the original original creator, this is exactly why labels ARE useful. they don't determine everything about someone, but if you say "oh, I'm a democratic socialist" Vs "I'm a progressive liberal" I understand way more about what your end goals are, even if your means seem similar. one of these people who vote blue has at least a similar final outcome to me as a communist.

If I see one more comment about the “online left” I’m going to scream. We’re only the online left bc you don’t leave online spaces. People think bc they’re algorithmically fed lefty content that the US left is larger than it is. People have no idea what to do with me when I call myself an anarchist IRL. So they ask me what that means and usually they are introduced into a new way of thinking.
