I think it's just because our bodies will remember until the last day on earth that there was a time we didn't give it what it needed so it's still kind of stressful

My recovery therapist said it’s okay and some days our body just needs more one day, less another. If our body’s saying something, she said to listen to it and trust it

It’s because we have restricted for so long or a certain amount of time and your body is still healing

BBBRROOOOOOOO same but I think it’s because once you recover you always think about eating enough and not having less in a day. Also menstrual phases I’m INSATIABLE in my luteal and early menstrual phase

i think there is a lot of reasons for this but one of them is that once you fully recover from an eating disorder, you actually have more food freedom than the average person without an eating disorder. even people with healthy relationships with foods place boundaries on the amount they eat due to unwritten rules of society lol and just diet culture. i think when you have gone through recovery and tackled all of the old diet culture rules you can reach a level of freedom with food that even most ‘normal’ people don’t reach because they don’t even realise they are putting limits on themselves. does that make any sense
