I disagree. Years and years of the same abuse hardened me. I owned up to everything I did. EVERYTHING. I wasn't a great communicator, but every time I did communicate I was met with resistance and the same old patterns. I didn't love him right, but he didn't respect me. We were BOTH wrong. We both knew it. We both moved on "fast". We were in fact roommates. And my new relationship has been everything I needed this entire time. He has HELPED me to heal. And I'm nowhere near the same person I used to be. While I understand your perspective, it's not everyone's story. 🫶🏻
