@askcatgpt: Cowork is the perfect middle ground between the back and forth chatbot experience and the hardcore coding experience with AI. It has the same brain powering Claude Code, but in a much more easy-to-navigate window.I personally have 3 rules of thumb for when to use Cowork over the regular chat mode… let me know if you have any others!1. If you’re using a ton of documents. (You are probably pushing the context window and might be getting sub-par results in chat mode.)2. If you’re using data and it’s super important that Claude doesn’t hallucinate. (Cowork writes and executes its own code which helps it to avoid hallucination.)3. If you’re bouncing around between a lot of sources, especially on long tasks.
