I mean, they saved him an unpleasant experience. I would not wanna work for a company that thinks people are working there for pure enjoyment. These companies are dillusional and usually don’t treat their employees well. However I would not have started an argument, I would have just accepted they wanted a workaholic who doesn’t care about work conditions and thanked them for the opportunity.

With respect, is your advice not completely contradictory? You say not to basically ask the questions he asked, but then say don’t work for a company that behaves like that. How is somebody going to be able to ascertain that the company is to be avoided, if you shouldn’t ask these types of questions in the first place?

As much as it’s an interview for the company it’s an interview for the candidate. Asking questions about work culture and expectations is very normal.

These companies need to understand people applying for a job are doing so because they need money. They provide a service for the company and the company pays them money. It’s all about money so when they ask you, why do you want to work for us? the answer is always money.

I think this is the first video where you were in the wrong you specifically him asking about specifics shouldn't make him look less enthusiastic and the way he handled himself is very human I would not want to be hired from this company so I would start speaking less professional but he still was not rude or aggressive
