@jayprehistoricpets: Water monitor mukbang and yeah… this is not your average dinner guest 🦎That being said, water monitors are incredibly intelligent and opportunistic feeders, meaning they’ll eat just about anything they can find, from fish and insects to eggs and small animals. In the wild, they spend a lot of time actively searching for food, using both their sense of smell and sharp awareness to track it down. Isn’t that cool or what? What looks like a simple feeding is actually a lot more than that. Monitors benefit from variety in their diet, and different food items provide different nutrients like protein, fats, and essential vitamins. On top of that, feeding sessions can double as enrichment by encouraging natural behaviors like chasing, tearing, and problem solving. So yeah, it might look like a mukbang, but it’s really a close-up look at how a highly active and intelligent reptile fuels itself. That being said… watching a water monitor eat never really gets old, isn’t that cool or what?
