according to some courts, it's legal for a parent to use the child support to pay bills, like electricity because it is still supporting the child.

I am 100% for child support however I think it should go into a trust or account that neither parent can touch. and neutral party needs to control it and see what the money is actually being spent. however I am against spousal support unless one of the former spouse's caused financial harm to the other.
