Her comment doesn’t make sense anyway because the pup cups are absolutely still free, they’re just now free with purchase. The rising costs of cool whip aren’t the reason for this change, it’s just to bring in more sales in general so…

I honest-to-God did not know that they now make you pay for the pup cup, so thank you for making this video, so the next time I go out with my friend who has 2 dogs and we stop at Starbucks, we now know. I appreciate this information, and this is not sarcasm.

Also, Starbucks wasn’t being generous by making pup cups free. Their marketing team probably did studies that said the benefits of additional sales outweighed the cost of the materials. It’s still a transaction people!

once I waited almost 2 hrs for an oil change and an inspection on my vehicle and was ready to pay but they didn't charge me and I still asked if they were sure I didn't mind paying at all but they insisted it was free for my wait time... I never expect anything for free!

I would totally understand if they decided to charge for a pup-cup, but that’s not what they did. They expected a purchase of one of their products to get the “free” pup-cup. I’m sure if given the choice to pay, say $1, you would have gotten one for your fur baby.

Fun fact, I recently found out Dairy Queen does free pup cups, and they’re just little small servings of vanilla ice cream. They’re kind of like kid sizes.

Say it LOUDER! People are crazy to ever think ANYTHING is free. I have this convo daily. I don’t grasp it. I did not know this policy changed, but doesn’t truly affect us, my Pup doesn’t handle car rides well. 😔 so I just do treats at home. But I do agree that it is something you didn’t expect it. 🤪
