Or maybe people like what they like. Ok own hundreds of fragrances (non gifted) and vanilla is my favorite note. While I do own VP, it’s not even my favorite vanilla. I believe Encore une Fois is better and less money. I’m not an influencer, but people may not feel the same way you do about the most “popular” and most “expensive “ doesn’t mean they’re not being truthful.

I like your approach. I will say I don't always believe price = quality 🤷♀️Also just because it has better quality ingredients doesn't mean the average person is going to understand the difference. There is a market and something out there for everyone. I love buying samples or getting samples because I'm trying to learn the difference
