I just ran the same experiment on ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini. ChatGPT gave me a similar answer to yours, Grok gave me a multiple page response outlining the pros and cons, and decided walking was correct. Gemini was the only one that stated I had to drive in order to accomplish the mission.

“ai” isn’t sentiment, at least consumer usable LLMs. It’s your phones text prediction on steroids. It instead of guessing three words, it does THOUSANDS and compiles all of those into the “most accurate” idea of what it was presented. “What color is the sky” is followed by “blue” 99.9% of the time so that’s the answer you’ll get. It isn’t analyzing and thinking. It’s mathematically providing a logical response based on its knowledge.
