I clean mine once a week, and cleaning the tanks is really easy but the pump is a little difficult. I run soapy water through it by putting the pump hose into a sink of clean soapy water and then in clean cold water to rinse in a separate sink.

If you have multiple cats, don't rely on this. My cats will drink all the water out of the tray and it won't refill it until it changes the water so I end up having to manually water change it on the app.

I bought one of these and everything but one thing is good. the water pressure in the pump is terrible. I don't know what the issue is but none of the videos I've seen show it as weak as what I'm experiencing

Isn’t the little sponge thing that goes under the sensor a sort of filter? Regardless it needs to be changed every now and then.

how does continous mode work? wouldn't it just fill up the dirty water compartment faster? and since that compartment is smaller wouldn't it over flow with continous mode? I cant wrap my brain around how that would work without recirculating water.
