i work for ground. make bout 4k month. thats pretty good for how young i am & cost of living where im at. have a 2019 scat, 2bd apartment & yeah. ofc could be better. exactly why you find a 2nd source of income ( side hustle ).

I’ve worked at FedEx for years and I’ve never worked one holiday and the delivery drivers in my hub don’t work holidays

its not every contractor though. you could have easily left and find a new one. i get 250 a day and only do 6/7 hours a day. i get vacation time and all.

over 60-70hrs a week and some folks make 160 a day. it destroys your mental if you have things you have to take care of. its cool if you single, no kids. stack that job for a year and get something better. but it definitely ain't for the weak or frail. its heavy. everyday. at least for me cause they know im about that

Soooo burnt out. And they expect you to go help other drivers but it’s what we do 😭 our BC doesn’t go home until the last truck is back though and I’m so thankful for that
