OMG Verizon just did this mess to me. I had a $25. loyalty reward. my normal bill was $207.. With the $25 off it would have been $182. a All of a sudden my bill was "scheduled to increase" no notice mind you so with the $25 off my new amount was $202. when I tell you I was on the phone with the FCC so fast..

The restaurant I work in charges a 3.5 % fee on the final bill for "employee benefits" none of us work enough hours to have healthcare thru the company... they also just bought the restaurant next door. Soooo

it's corporate business legal loophole They give you discount, but it's never before tax, it's always after tax, so when they ring it up, all that stuff happens at the end basically costing them no money at all. weed dispensary do it, fast food chains do it, corporate businesses do it.. it's fucked.
