f'(x)= f(x+h)-f(x)/h the one shown in the vid is just a shortcut ONLY for n +/- n... but if you encounter 1/x2 you do not follow that on the vid. thats why we use the derivative definition (⬆️the formula⬆️)

No we shouldn’t give the power rule straight away. We should define first what a derivative truly is, then its definition and only afterwards the shortcuts used to differentiate a function. But great content overall and I really appreciate the initiative !
