now imagine if you got everyone's comebacks because the shop gave up on the idea that they could actually diag anything and you became the go too clean up tech while they continued to produce more hours flatrate because they never had to do their comebacks or anything difficult. yeah flatrate is great right

I had to take on a co-worker's comeback. Yesterday where they did a fan recall and the fan literally fell out of the van, while it was going down the road, took out the radiator he was at training for something he doesn't need. The audible click of the fan snapping into the radiator can be heard across the shop for every one of these recalls.He knows it was not in place.

So think about this. If there’s a difficultly intermittent electrical issue, it can go to 6 different techs and u may have 6 different recommendations. Have u ever had misdiagnosed vehicles?

Shops should have a system in place that if you get stuck with another techs diag comeback you should get some of their gravy as well. Would make it better for you and keep the other tech from putting out shit work in the future
